This months flyer from the apartment complex has this whole ‘hooray, spring is here’ feel to it. They usually describe something about what the current month stands for, or whatnot. Like February (i think) is black history month, and March is womens history month. Well, May just so happens to be National Barbecue Month. They have this whole little paragraph about barbecues, spring, and everything.
They then go on to remind us that barbecues are prohibited from Essex at Hampton property.
We still are dumb and will burn down our building, I guess. So anyway, they go on in another flyer to tell us that they appreciate us not having grills and to please report them if we see them. We are getting ‘community barbecues’ in ‘common areas’ along with ‘picnic tables’. Super, I get to grill on a dirty-share-with-your-neighbor-hope-you-arent-barbecuing-the-same-time-i-am-if-you-are-allergic-to-fish-pardon-my-salmon-steak-it-wont-hurt-you-too-much-oops-i-forgot-to-clean-off-the-grill-you-dont-mind-do-you-i-didnt-think-so grill. Woo.
Yes. 10 months later, and I still miss my grill. :(
