So, being the music geek I am, I ended up listening to ‘May 16th’ about 7 times yesterday. Pretty good for being on random. Today, I listened to Owen Meany (the song after May 16th) once or twice already. Maybe I’ll just listen to this CD, one song per day, until 2009 and see if May 16th lands on May 16th again. o_O

While adding stuff to my playlist yesterday, I stumbled upon the old No Motiv cd (And The Sadness Prevails). Wow. I love(d) that cd. I’m glad I found it, because I was diggin every song. It was like listening to them again for the first time, I swear I haven’t listened to them in a year+. I didn’t listen to the newer album, though. Maybe I’ll do that on Monday.

That’s the thing I like about Winamp2. You can’t save more than one playlist in the player. With Winamp3, I was keeping about 12 playlists, and my listening got stagnant. I would listen to the same thing over & over & over. With Winamp2, if I want a change, I have to either load up a saved playlist (which I don’t like to do for some reason), or I have to start fresh. That involves going through the MP3’s I have and finding what I’m looking for. And that leads to finding stuff I haven’t listened to in a while: No Motiv.

I also loaded up my favorite NOFX cd, ‘Punk in Drublic’. And of course, Lagwagon’s ‘Lets Talk About Feelings’. I came to the conclusion that I like ‘Let’s Talk..’ and ‘Plaidinum’ the best ouf ot all Lagwagon albums. The new one seems a bit odd, more crazy-metal guitar solos & Bad Astronaut-ish. That’s not a bad thing, but definetly not like the previous 2-3 Lagwagon albums. Maybe I just haven’t listened to it enough, yet. Who knows. All I’m saying is that ‘Plaidinum’ and ‘Lets Talk.. ‘ are two CD’s that I can safely say I like EVERY song on each of them. Alot.

Alot.
