2003. ‘They’ said it was going to be a big music year. ‘They’ were right.

There is so much new music that I find it hard to keep up. I want to listen to band X, because its new, but then band Y comes out with something the next week and I have to listen to that. But then Band Z comes out with something on the same day, so band Y & Z share a day, and then band X gets left behind. It’s just not right. I guess I’ll survive, though. I made a list in my head of stuff I want to listen to.

the list: The Mars Volta, Weird Al, Staind, Brandtson, Pollen, Coheed and Cambria, Less Than Jake, Third Eye Blind, Fall Out Boy, Armor for Sleep, Anberlin, Brand New, Mest, The Starting Line, The Suicide Machines.

…which reminds me. The new Suicide Machines CD is great. Thank you Suicide Machines for bringing it back to how it used to (and should) be. ‘Boo pop radio’ is right.

the list, continued: The Jealous Sound, Northstar, Deftones, Story of the Year, Motion City Soundtrack, Finch, Radiohead.

I want to listen to every band on ‘the list’ all at the same time and cannot.

I’ll survive. And so will you. And so will they.
