I redesigned it. Why? Because I can. It is all done with valid XHTML 1.0 and CSS1 and a few graphics here & there. Up top we have the Detroit skyline, a spine, a camera, some audio input jacks, a guitar, and a keyboard. Most of the images came from iStockPhoto. It’s my site — so its stuff that I like. Lame. Oh well.

I also switched from my home-made php/mysql thing to Movable Type. Everybody’s doing it, so I figured why not. The text is filtered through SmartyPants to give the quotes and apostrophes a little style. See? It’s cool. They’ve. They’re. She’s. “Quoted”. Woo.

Dear Copeland,

I am only slighly angry that you did not come to Michigan earlier this month. I will forgive you, though, because you rock so much. I suppose I wouldn’t want to die in a snowy car wreck, either, if I rocked as hard as you did.
