Dear Scott Russo (of Unwritten Law),
If you can’t sing on key during your live performances, don’t play live — or at least lip sync like Ms. Simpson.
Yours truly,
Brandon Martus
So, I like the movie Napoleon Dynamite a lot. I quote it randomly. I like it.
I was watching TV late a few days ago, and a commercial for Wayne County Community College came on, and I swear this girl is the female version of Kip, Napoleon’s brother.
Thanks to TiVoToGo and a nice little Graph Edit hack, I am able to upload a clip of it, so you can tell me how right (or wrong) I am.. I chopped it up, so it was small enough to put online. So, here are her first and second appearances. Both are nearly 4MB. She’s the second girl (Beena Siddiqui?) on the first clip.

I know you want to … part deux.
For this, you only need to refer 3 people.
I bought the Live release by Our Lady Peace a few weeks ago, and realized that in doing so I have successfully purchased every major release by the group. I guess, considering they have five releases, that would put them higher up on my list of favorite artists than I would’ve thought. Each album has been consistently solid. I like pretty much every song on every album. The Spiritual Machines album was a concept album about the future, and led me to buy and read (for fun! *gasp*) The Age of Spiritual Machines: When Computers Exceed Human Intelligence.
If I had to rate their 5 releases in order of personal preference it would go something like:
That was harder than I had thought. They each have great songs on them, I didn’t think it would be as hard as it was to put them in some sort of order.
